The Elmfield is the perfect venue for a chilled day and fun evening. The Pool complex is indoor, and heated year-round, (opening times are 10am - 6pm). The games room has bar skittles, darts, plenty of toys and children's books. The Lounge is both comfortable and relaxing, it is the perfect place to quietly read one of the Hotels complimentary glossy magazines, the Lounge also has its own cine-screen (out of view when not in use), where guests are welcome to watch classic movies curled up with popcorn and a preferred tipple or enjoy a big screen sports match - beer optional, or even join in a WII or PS3 larger than life tournament.
 
The Gardens provide an acre of green tranquillity, where there is plenty of space to relax and read a book. The terraced nature of the gardens also mean that our outdoor play area provides space for younger guests to let off steam whilst adults can still enjoy peace and quite, or listen to the gentle sound of the Wilder Brook which runs across the bottom of the garden.
 
The Elmfield Bar, is an adult only haven, open from 6pm - midnight, serving cocktails, fine wines and champagne, draft and speciality beers and ciders, with friendly efficient bar staff, and decor just on the right side of Kitsch. Over the course of the summer / autumn 2009 The Elmfield will be introducing a programme of activities and courses, including film making, cooking, fitness, mask and mosaic making, and many more. The Elmfield are happy to arrange entertainment for private parties, and will be offering tea-time children's entertainment during the summer months by prior arrangement.
