crazy gourmets and silly golf

Finally a little taste of golden sun-light. We've been out today playing crazy golf, and taking in the spectacular views from the top of Capstone hill...just gorgeous.
Now that the schools have all reopened, and the sun is sitting low in the sky, our thoughts are turning to Autumnal persuits, and boy have we got a few corkers...chocolate and wine tasting, courtesy of 70% (http://www.seventypercent.com), devonish tapas and fab spanish wine and sherry, and 7 course gourmet taster menus, can you think of a better way to spend a thursday evening? All this conbined with an exciting seasonal dinner menu, and now I'm getting hungry (sadly our chef Tom is off on holiday - so I'll have to get myself back to the kitchen.)
