First time sea fishing for Mackeral from Ilfracombe harbour, guests at the hotel, brought some super fresh fish to the hotel kitchen. Tom our head chef was very happy cook the catch for the delight of everyone, as there was plenty to go around.
May half term holidays at The Elmfield saw some more fun events, in particular Daniel the juggler put on a fabulous spur of the moment show in the lounge. Entertainaing children and adults with his amazing crystal ball dance.

The hotel has been closed for a few refurbs during January, and we're very excited to be reopening just in time for halfterm.

We're all feeling very Christmassy at The Elmfield. We have a fab tree adorned in scarlet and gold splendour in the lounge, and some delicious seasonal treats on offer in the bar and restaurant.

In April 2009 we had a visit from Sally Shalam, hotel reviewer at the Guardian. Sally obviously picked up on our 'dazzlingly patterened' carpet (replacement on order).
We've had some sensational dishes on the menu throughout March, and some corkers coming up in April.
