Love was certainly in the air during February at The ELmfield. We had a wonderful Valentines evening, with house champagne cocktails, a 5 course gourmet meal and roses for all. Little did we know that an undercover journo from the North Devon Journal was in our midst, taking at all in. You can read Joels review of his Valentines evening for yourself.
Love was also afoot in the hotel garden, we've 3 pairs of frogs, and lots and lots of frog spawn.
Earlier in the month, we enjoyed our inaugral supper-club, sadly our special guest David Fitzgerald was not able to be present, but the diners that did attend thouroughly enjoyed Toms Frosts 7 course gastro feast, and Brett Stephens from The Fabulous WIne company did a stirling job of introducing each delicious wine pairing. The next Supper CLub will be held on March 25th - contact Zoe at The Elmfield for availability.
